Our friendly team at Syllabus provides personalised tuition that fits all learning styles and syllabus levels. Join morning or after-school sessions and use transport for school pick-ups or drop-offs.
Years 0-13
Maths Tuition: Core Number Knowledge, Problem Solving, Algebra, Geometry and Measurement, Statistics.
English Tuition: Listening, Phonemic awareness, Comprehension,
Reading: Phonics, Making meaning, Thinking critically, Text response,
Writing: Genre (purpose-based), Spelling, Vocabulary, Structure, Language features, Speech (Pronunciation, Public speaking).
Science Tuition: Foundation Sciences like Living World, Planet Earth, Physical World, Material World, plus Biology, Chemistry, Physics.
Adult Classes: English for foreign learners, Workplace communication coaching.
Guitar: Beginner and Intermediate classes and private lessons available.
Ukulele: Beginner and Intermediate classes and private lessons available.
Home Education Services
Enrol now for our project-based home education classes, designed to inspire and engage learners of all styles. Our courses feature a wide variety of hands-on activities that encourage creativity, critical thinking, and practical learning in a home-based environment.
Launched in 2022, Urban Adventures' 10-week homeschool education programmes align with school terms and are designed to provide a variety of project-based activities that focus on developing real-world life skills.
Guided by the philosophy of "meeting children where they are," we aim to create an inclusive learning environment that supports both neurodivergent and neurotypical children. To ensure the best educational experience, a needs assessment may be required to determine if 1:1 support from a parent or legal guardian is necessary.
Each session is carefully planned to encourage participants to apply their knowledge in English, Mathematics, and Science through hands-on, engaging activities in areas such as STEM, health and movement, as well as the visual, literary, and performing arts.
We believe in the importance of a balanced, holistic approach to education, fostering an environment where children are inspired, encouraged, and motivated to learn while feeling safe and supported.

Programme Details
Term Price: $250 (10 sessions across 10 weeks)
Location: J/26 Aviemore Drive, Highland Park, Auckland, New Zealand.
Days/Groups: Tuesdays (ages 5-11) & Wednesdays (ages 12-17)
Times: 9:30am - 12:00pm
* Participants are expected to bring packed morning tea, a water bottle, fully closed shoes and the appropriate attire for the season.
Enrolment & Confirmation
Once we receive a successfully filled-out Enrolment and Terms and Conditions Form, we will email an invoice stating the service offered and the payment instructions for the term.
* Please note that an enrolment is only finalised once the term payment has been received.
